1. First, power down the phone by pressing the Power button.
2. Next, hold down the Power and Volume Up buttons. Let go of them when the Android robot pops on screen.
3. Open Recovery Mode.
4. You are now in Recovery mode - navigate using Volume buttons and select options with Power button.
