Recovery is included on a separate partition from the main Android OS on all Android devices.
You can boot directly into recovery mode and use it to factory reset the device, delete the cache partition, or apply software updates. It can help you fix your device.
1. To begin the process, power off your LG.
2. Press and hold the Power key and Volume down button simultaneously, and wait untill hard reset logo appears, then you can release the keys.
3. Once the menu showed up, you can navigate through it with volume keys "+" to go up and "-" to go down to choose an option use your power button.
4. And this is it! your phone is in recovery mode, good job.
