To Soft Reset a phone is to simply power cycle the device, to power it off and then to power it back on.
The soft reset can actually solve many simple problems on mobile phones, especially when the phone has been on for a long period of time and has not been power cycled for a while.
1. To begin the Soft reset unlock your screen and hold down your power button.
2. Now when you will see this menu, you can let go off the button.
3. Then tap on Reboot or Restart option and let your phone do all the work.
