What is a Soft Reset and what the Soft Reset does?
The Soft Reset is the easiest reset to perform on a mobile phone.
To Soft Reset a phone is to simply power cycle the device, to power it off and then to power it back on.
The soft reset can actually solve many simple problems on mobile phones, especially when the phone has been on for a long period of time and has not been power cycled for a while.
1. This very easy process start from unlocking your screen and holding down the power button.
2. When you will see this menu you can let go of the power button.
3. Now please tap on Restart icon and your phone will reboot itself.
4. And done! The whole soft reset process is complete.
It is wise to do this process once in a while to clean cache memory in your device, so keep that in mind.
