In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE XT897.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE XT897 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction I:
1. First of all, power down the phone.
2. Next, press-hold the Volume Up button. After a few seconds, press the Power button.
3. Let go of these buttons. When an Android icon pops on-screen, press and hold both Volume buttons for five seconds.
4. You are halfway there. In a new menu, select wipe data/factory reset - Volume Down navigates through the menu, Power button selects.
5. Continue by selecting Yes - delete all user data and Reboot System Now.
6. Good work, you have completed the hard reset process.
1. Hold down the Power button until the device turns on.
2. Now open Main Menu and go to Settings.
3. Continue to Backup&Resett > Factory data reset > Reset phone.
4. Complete the process by selecting Erase Everything and OK.
