Hard Reset for Alcatel Fire E
In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Alcatel Fire E.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Alcatel Fire E device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction #1
First, press and hold the Power key to turn the device on.
2. Enter the Main Menu, go to Settings.
3. Now scroll to Device information and press it.
4. Next, select More information.
5. Choose Reset phone.
6. In order to begin the whole operation select Reset.
7. Excellent! The hard reset has just been completed.
Instruction #2
1. To begin, switch off the cell phone by holding down the Power rocker for a while.
2. Continue by pressing and holding together Volume Down and Power button for a couple seconds.
3. Release held keys when the Acer logo shows up.
4. Now use Volume Down to choose "wipe data/factory reset". Push thePower button to confirm.5. Now select option "wipe data/factory reset" using Volume Down to scroll, and Power button to accept option.
5. Restart the tablet by selecting "reboot system now".
6. Hoozah, you have performed the hard reset.
