Hard Reset for Alcatel One Touch Tab 7
In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Alcatel One Touch Tab 7.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Alcatel One Touch Tab 7 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction #1
1. First, press and hold the Power key to turn the device off.
2. Next, press and hold the Volume Up + Power buttons for several seconds.
3. Release the Power key when a change happens on your screen.
4. Hold the Volume Up key until the Recovery Mode appears.
5. Press Volume Up and Power button simultaneously in order to activate the Android System Recovery.
6. Now use Volume buttons to choose "wipe data/factory reset". Push thePower button to confirm.
7. Please select "Yes - delete all user data". Use Volume buttons to scroll and Power rocker to choose.
8. Restart the device by selecting "reboot system now".
9. Hoozah, you have performed the hard reset.
Instruction #2
1. For starters, hold the Power button until your device turns on.
2. Now go to Settings, then to Backup & reset.
3. Press Factory Data Reset, then select Reset Device.
4. Select Erase everything to begin the hard reset operation.
5. To confirm the operation, select Okay.
6. Yay, whee, woohoo, yyou're done.
