Hard Reset for Alcatel OT-706
In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Alcatel OT-706.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Alcatel OT-706 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction #1
1. Turn your phone on.
2. Open phone's dialer and type in this code: 25228353.
3. Confirm by pressing Call Key.
4. Your phone will now restart.
Instruction #2
1. Turn your phone off.
2. Press and hold Volume button + Power button.
3. Release them when you the Android logo appears on screen.
4. Select the "English" language and confirm that with Power button.
5. Now choose "wipe data/factory reset" from the Recovery Mode by using Volume buttons to browse option. Use Power key to accept.
6. Confirm by pressing "Yes".
7. Lastly, select the "reboot system now" option with Power button.
