Hard Reset for Alcatel OT-818

Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Alcatel OT-818 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction #1
1. Turn your phone on.
2. Open phone's dialer and type in this code: 25228353.
3. Confirm by pressing Call Key.
4. Your phone will now restart.
Instruction #2
1. Turn your phone off.
2. Press and hold Volume button + Power button.
3. Wait until the bootload interface comes into view.
4. Next, press the Home key and select “Wipe Data/Factory Reset” using the Volume rocker.
5. Confirm Factory data reset by pressing Menu key.
6. Afterwards, choose “reboot system now”. Again, confirm by pressing Menu key.
7. Voila, you're done.
