Hard Reset for Alcatel OT-980

Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Alcatel OT-980 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction #1
1. Turn your phone off.
2. Press and hold Volume button + Power button.
3. When bootloader screen appears release keys from device.
4. Next, press Home key and select “Wipe Data/Factory Reset”. Navigate using Volume rocker.
5. Press Menu key to confirm Factory reset operation.
6. Now find select “reboot system now”Confirm, again, with Menu key.
7. Voila, you're done.
Instruction #2
1. Turn your phone on.
2. Open phone's dialer and type in this code: 25228353.
3. Confirm.
4. Your phone will now restart.
