Hard Reset for Alcatel OT-991
In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Alcatel OT-991.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Alcatel OT-991 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction #1
1. Turn your phone off.
2. Press and hold Volume button + Power button.
3. Release them when the Android logo pops up.
4. You can press Home button to enter Recovery Mode.
5. Scroll to "wipe data/factory reset" using the Volume buttons.
6. To confirm, press Left Sensitive key.
7. Choose "Yes--delete all user data" by using Volume Down to scroll and Left Sensitive key to select.
8. Now press Power button to enter option "reboot system now".
9. Done!
Instruction #2
1. Switch your phone on.
2. Now open Menu and choose Settings.
3. Next, select Privacy and tap Factory data reset.
4. To begin the hard reset, choose Reset phone and select Erase everything.
