Hard Reset for Alcatel OT-997
In order to hard reset a Alcatel OT-997, you should perform the following steps.
Remember! Hard reset will delete all the data on your device; pictures, contacts, messages, apps and more.
Alcatel OT-997 device will be brought back to the default configuration of a brand new device.
1. For starters, hold the Power button until your device turns on.
2. Now press and hold the Volume Up + Power buttons for a few seconds.
3. Feel free to release held keys when an Android image appears.
4. Now press the Home button to enter Recovery Mode.
5. Afterwards, select "wipe data/factory reset". Accept with Power button.
6. Next, choose"Yes--delete all user data".
