Hard Reset for Amazon Fire HD 8
In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Amazon Fire HD 8.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Amazon Fire HD 8 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction #1
1. Turn on your device by pressing Power button.
2. Enter Settings.
3. Afterwards tap Device Options, then choose Reset to Factory Defaults.
4. Begin the hard reset by tapping Reset.
5. Good show, you have just perfomed the factory reset operation.
Instruction #2
1. What you need to do is press and hold the Power key, which will turn the device off.
2. Next, press and hold the Power + Volume Up buttons.
3. You now are in Recovery Mode.
4. Next, using Volume Down and Volume Up to navigate and Power button to confirm, choose wipe data/factory reset.
5. Afterwards, select "Yes - delete all user data".
6. Accept the "reboot system now" with Power Button.
7. Jolly good, you have performed the hard reset.
