Hard Reset for Asus Memo
In our description database there are 3 solutions for performing hard reset for Asus Memo.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Asus Memo device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction #1
1. Power up the phone by holding the Power key for a couple of seconds.
2. Hold down both Volume Up and Power button.
3. Let go of held keys when the Android icon appears onscreen.
4. Press and hold Volume Up to select Recovery option. Tap and release Power button.
5. Now choose the Wipe Data/Factory Reset option. Use Volume buttons to scroll and Power button to select the option.
6. To confirm, choose Yes-delete all user data.
7. Select the Reboot System Now option. Tablet should restart.
8. Open up a bottle of beer and celebrate, for you have completed the hard reset operation.
Instruction #2
1. Start by downloading the “cleardata.zip”.
2. You should unzip this file to your MicroSD card.
3. Aftert that, switch the device off press the Power button for a short while.
4. Insert the memory card to your device.
5. Then hold down the Power Button for a couple of seconds.
6. Select Clear User Data by using the Volume buttons to navigate and Power key to select.
7. When “Please remove installation media!” inforamtion appears on the screen remove the microSD card from your device.
8. Success! The hard reset has just been performed.
Instruction #3
1. First of all, hold down the Power key in order to turn on the device.
2. Starting at the Main Screen, go to Settings.
3. Select Backup & Reset and then Factory data reset.
4. Now please Reset tablet.
5. Confirm by selecting Erase everything.
6. Blow the trumpet and fire the confetti cannon! Hard reset is complete!
