Hard Reset for BlackBerry 8800
In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for BlackBerry 8800.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. BlackBerry 8800 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction #1
I. Hello. Begin by switching your phone on.
II. Next thing to do is to go to Options > Security > Set a password.
III. Enter an incorrect password ten times. That will cause your BlackBerry to reset and return to its default settings.
Instruction #2
I. Turn your phone on.
II. Go to Options. Select Security, General Settings and Wipe handheld.
III. The phone will ask you to type in "BlackBerry". Do that, and the device will hard reset. Done.
