Hard Reset for BlackBerry 8820
In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for BlackBerry 8820.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. BlackBerry 8820 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction #1
1. Press Power button to turn the phone on.
2. Select Options > Security > Set a password.
3. Enter an incorrect password ten times, following the prompts when they appear.
4. 10th attempt will be the last one, after which the phone will reset and restart.
Instruction #2
1. Turn on the device.
2. Follow this route: Options > Security > General Settings > Wipe handheld.
3. Type "BlackBerry". The phone will reset and restart.
