Hard Reset for BlackBerry Passport
In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for BlackBerry Passport.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. BlackBerry Passport device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction I
1. The first thing for you to do is to switch on the device.
2. Another step is to select Settings, Security, Privacy and Security Wipe.
3. The phone will now want you to enter the word "BlackBerry" into it. Do that.
4. Continue by choosing the Delete data option.
5. The phone will reset and restart. You have performed the hard reset operation. Yaay, whee, woohoo.
Instruction II
1. Hi. To begin, download a BlackBerry Link on your PC.
2. In the meantime, turn off your phone and connect it to the PC with an USB cable.
3. A BlackBerry Link window will open. In it, find your device and click on it.
4. Now select BackUp & Restore and Factory Reset. Done, the factory reset is complete.
