Hard Reset for BlackBerry PlayBook
In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for BlackBerry PlayBook.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. BlackBerry PlayBook device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction I
1. Make sure that the display is on. If it is not, press the Power button.
2. First, select Settings. Follow by choosing Security and Security Wipe.
3. You will see a text field. Enter the word "Blackberry" into it.
5. Tap Wipe Data to intiate the security wipe process.
6. Well done! Your device is ready to use.
Instruction II
1. Turn the device on by holding down the Power button.
2. Next, press'n'hold Volume Down & Volume Up & Power button for a few seconds.
3. The device should now reset. Congrats! Treat yourself with a cookie.
