Hard Reset for HP 8
In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for HP 8.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. HP 8 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction II:
1. First of all, power down the device.
2. Next, press & hold the Volume Up + Power button for five seconds. Or even six.
3. When HP logo comes on screen, let go of these buttons.
4. Now select the Recovery option. To do that, use Volume buttons to select it and confirm with Power button.
5. Now select the wipe data/factory reset and Yes--delete all user data options.
6. To complete the hard reset process, select Reboot System Now.
Instruction I:
1. Press Power button to turn the phone on.
2. Now select Settings >Backup & Reset > Factory Data Reset > Reset tablet > Erase everything.
3. Good job, you're done.
