Hard Reset for LG G3
A Hard Reset reverts a phone to its original settings and a clean OS (Operating System) removing all data and information added to the cell phone by the mobile phone user. In essence a Hard Reset erases everything from the phone and puts the phone back to like new condition as though it’s brand new right out of the box.
1st Solution
1. Please power off the device and wait 10 seconds.
2. Press and hold the Volume Down button and the Power button.
3. When the LG logo is displayed release the Power button only then immediately press and hold the Power button again.
4. Release both buttons when the Factory data reset screen displays. From the Factory data reset screen, select Yes. Use volume keys to navigate.
5. And there, your phone will be reverted to its original settings and a clean Operating System.
2nd Solution
1. Turn off your phone and wait 10 seconds before doing any action.
2. Press and hold the Volume Down button and the Power button.
3. When LG Logo appears release BOTH Buttons then immediately press and hold the Volume Down and Volume Up buttons.
4. Release those buttons when the Factory data reset screen displays. From the Factory data reset screen, select Yes. To navigate please use volume keys.
5. Congratulations, your phone will now reset and restart and will be ready to use.
