Hard Reset for LG K5
In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for LG K5.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. LG K5 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction I:
1. For starters, press the Power button until the phone turns itself on.
2. Starting from the Home screen, open Settings and select General.
3. Now choose the Backup & Reset, Factory data reset and Reset phone options.
4. Continue by selecting Erase Everything and OK. Well done, your phone will now reset and restart, thus completing the hard reset process.
Instruction II:
1. For starters, power down the device.
2. Press and hold the Power & Volume Down buttons for five seconds or so.
3. Wait for an LG logo to come on screen. When it does, release the Power button and, after a few seconds, press-hold it again (keep holding the Volume Down button).
4. Wait for the Factory Mode menu to appear and release both buttons.
5. Complete the hard reset operation by selecting Yes - use Volume Down to navigate and Power to select it.
6. Your phone will now reset and restart. Voila.
