A hard reset, also known as a factory reset or master reset, is the restoration of a device to the state it was in when it left the factory.
All settings, applications and data added by the user are removed.
The term is often heard in reference to smartphones and tablets but laptop and desktop computers, as well as most other electronic devices, can usually be restored to factory conditions.
1. For a start take your phone and hold down your power button to shut it down.
2. Second thing we have to do press and hold the Volume down key + Power key with your hand.
3. Now when you see LG logo, release the keys before the logo disapears.
4. Now there should be a recovery mode menu on your screen.
5. To switch between option use volume keys and to proceed use power button on wipe data/factory reset.
6. And now your phone will restart itself so please wait patiently. Good job!
Despite the focus on the hardware issues, just like with the factory reset, this process is pretty invasive.
Since hardware and software work hand in hand, the action will still erase all the data stored on your smartphone.
Apps will also be uninstalled and settings will once again require a detailed restore and personalization.
