Hard Reset for LG Nexus 5
A Hard Reset reverts a phone to its original settings and a clean OS (Operating System) removing all data and information added to the cell phone by the mobile phone user.
In essence a Hard Reset erases everything from the phone and puts the phone back to like new condition as though it’s brand new right out of the box.
1. To start the whole process make sure your phone is turned off.
2. Wait 10 seconds and press and hold power button with volume down button and home button at the same time.
3. You can let go of the buttons when you will se LG logo on your screen.
4. Then after a moment your phone will boot into recovery mode.
5. Use your volume keys to move highlighted area down to wipe data/factory reset option and select with power button.
6. And this is it! The entire process ends here, your phone will restart and will be ready to use very soon.
