Hard Reset for LG Optimus 2X
A hard reset, also known as a factory reset or master reset, is the restoration of a device to the state it was in when it left the factory.
All settings, applications and data added by the user are removed.
The term is often heard in reference to smartphones and tablets but laptop and desktop computers, as well as most other electronic devices, can usually be restored to factory conditions.
1. To start hard reset process you will have to turn off your device.
2. Now please press and hold Power button + Volume down + Home button at the same time and dont let go off the buttons.
3. Wait untill your screen will show LG logo and then you can release the buttons.
4. After a moment your phone should boot into Recovery mode screen.
5. Now navigate using your volume buttons to wipe data/factory reset option and select it with Power button.
6. Congratulations! Your hard reset process is finished.
