Hard Reset for Mitac MIO 8870
In order to hard reset a Mitac MIO 8870, you should perform the following steps.
Remember! Hard reset will delete all the data on your device; pictures, contacts, messages, apps and more.
Mitac MIO 8870 device will be brought back to the default configuration of a brand new device.
1. Power down the phone.
2. Connect the phone to the AC adapter.
3. Next, press & hold Volume control.
4. Press End until the phone turns back on. Let it go after the phone turns on.
5. Let go of the Volume control after the phone gives off two vibrations.
6. After two minutes, your phone will turn on again. Done.
