Hard Reset for Motorola DROID Maxx
In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Motorola DROID Maxx.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Motorola DROID Maxx device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
1. Press-hold the Volume and Power buttons together.
2. A menu will open. From it, select Recovery option (use Volume Down to navigate the menu and Volume Up to select the option).
3. Exclamation mark will appear on screen. When it does, press both Volume buttons simultaneously.
4. Now select Wipe data/factory reset. Use Volume Down to navigate the menu and Power to select the option.
5. Now select YES - delete all user data.
6. Factory data reset will now be performed. After it is done, press the Power button to initiate a reboot.
7. Wait for your phone to reset and restart.
