Hard Reset for Motorola DROID Maxx

1. Press-hold the Volume and Power buttons together.

2. A menu will open. From it, select Recovery option (use Volume Down to navigate the menu and Volume Up to select the option).
3. Exclamation mark will appear on screen. When it does, press both Volume buttons simultaneously.

4. Now select Wipe data/factory reset. Use Volume Down to navigate the menu and Power to select the option.
5. Now select YES - delete all user data.

6. Factory data reset will now be performed. After it is done, press the Power button to initiate a reboot.
7. Wait for your phone to reset and restart.
