In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Motorola Moto G 4G.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Motorola Moto G 4G device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
1. Hold down the Power button until the phone turns off.
2. Now press and hold the Volume Down button for three seconds.
3. As you hold the above button, press Power button.
4. Select Recovery option - Volume Down to navigate, Volume Up to confirm.
5. Press-hold the Volume Up when an Android logo appears on-screen. Press and let go of the Power button.
6. Now select wipe data/factory reset - Volume Down selects options, Power button to confirms.
7. Lastly, select Yes - delete all user data and reboot system now.

1. Power up the phone with Power button.
2. Now go to Settings > Backup & reset > Reset Phone > Erase Everything > OK.
3. Done.
