In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Motorola Moto G4 Play.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Motorola Moto G4 Play device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
1. Turn on the phone.
2. Starting from the Home Screen, open Main Menu and Settings.
3. Now select Backup&Reset, Factory data reset and Reset phone.
4. Lastly, select Erase Everything and OK. Well done, the process is complete.
1. Switch off the phone by holding down the Power button.
2. Press'n'hold the Volume Down button for three seconds. As you do, press the Power button.
3. Select the Recovery option. Use Volume Down to navigate to the option and Volume Up to select it.
4. Android logo will appear on-screen. When it does, press-hold the Volume Up button and press Power button.
5. Next, select wipe data/factory reset - Volume Down navigates the menu, Power selects options.
6. Continue with selecting Yes - delete all user data and reboot system now.
