Hard Reset for Motorola XT301
In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Motorola XT301.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Motorola XT301 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction I:
1. Power down the phone.
2. Press'n'hold the Power & Volume buttons.
3. Android logo will appear on the screen - press Home button.
4. Now select wipe data/factory reset option - use Volume buttons to navigate through the menu and Power button to select the option.
5. Continue by selecting Yes - delete all user data and reboot system now.
6. Done!
Instruction II:
1. Power up the phone. When on the Home screen, enter the Applications tab.
2. When there, select Settings, Privacy, Factory data reset and Reset Phone.
3. When asked to, enter the phone's password or unlock pattern.
4. Lastly, select Erase Everything. Done, the hard reset is complete.
