Hard Reset for Nokia Lumia Icon
In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Nokia Lumia Icon.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Nokia Lumia Icon device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction I:
1. Power up the phone.
2. Scroll the touchscreen to the very bottom and tap the arrow icon.
3. Select Settings > About phone > Reset your phone > Yes > Yes.
4. Voila! Phone should now reset and restart, completing the hard reset process.
Instruction II:
1. Press-hold the Power button until the phone turns off.
2. Is it off? Then Press & hold Volume Down. As you hold it, grab an USB cable, connect it to your PC and then plug into the phone for roughly eight seconds.
3. Exclamation mark will appear on-screen (probably. If it does not, continue as below).
4. Now press these buttons in exacly this sequence: Volume Up > Volume Down > Power button > Volume Down.
5. Phone will now reset and restart, thus completing the hard reset process. Voila.
