Hard Reset for Philips S396
In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Philips S396.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Philips S396 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction I:
1. First, press and hold the Power button until the phone turns on.
2. Select Menu > Settings > Backup & Reset > Factory Data Reset.
3. Lastly, select Reset Phone > Erase Everything. Voila! Done.
Instruction II:
1. Hold down the Power button until the device turns off.
2. Press and hold Power & Volume buttons simultaeously. Release Power button when the Philips logo shows on the screen.
3. Let go of Volume Up after the Android icon appears on-screen. Enter Recovery Mode by press-holding the Power button.
4. Next, select Wipe Data/Factory Reset. Do that by navigating to the option with Volume Down and selecting it with Volume Up.
5. Lastly, select Reboot System Now.
6. Your phone should now reset and restart, completing the hard reset process. Done.
