How to Hard Reset Asus Fonepad 7
In our tutorial base are 3 solutions for hard resetting an Asus Fonepad 7.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If first solution will not work, use next method.
Warning! Hard reset will delete any data on your device, like pictures, contacts, messages, apps and more.
Asus Fonepad 7 device will be brought back to the same configuration as if you bought a brand new device.
Solution #1
1. First, switch off the device by holding the Power rocker for a few seconds.
2. Next, press and hold Volume Up + Power button simultaneously for about 5 seconds.
3. Release held keys as soon as you can see the menu on your screen.
4. Next, press Volume Down and select "Recovery". Then press Power rocker to confirm.
5. Now, press Volume Down and choose "wipe data/factory reset". Then push the Power button to confirm.
6. Select "Yes--delete all user data". Use Volume Down button to scroll and Power key to select.
7. In order to restart the tablet, select "reboot system now".
8. Huzzah, you have resetted your phone.
Solution #2
1. Turn the device on with the Power button.
2. Now go to Settings, then to Backup & reset.
3. Choose Factory Data Reset > Reset Tablet.
4. Enter in the safety code and choose Erase Everything
5. Confirm the operation by selecting okay.
6. Clap, clap, clap!
Solution #3
1. First, turn off your device by holding the Power key.
2. Next, press and hold Volume Up + Power button at once for a few seconds.
3. When you see menu on your screen, release the held keys.
4. Now, press Volume Down and select option "Factory Reset (Wipe Data)". Press Power button to confirm.
5. Success! You have just resetted your phone hard.
