How to Hard Reset Huawei Ascend Mate7
In our tutorial base there are 2 solutions for hard reset of Huawei Ascend Mate7.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, use next method.
Important! Hard reset will delete any data on your device; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps and more.
Huawei Ascend Mate7 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Solution #1
1. Begin by holding down the Power button until the device is turned off.
2. Next, press and hold the Volume Down & Volume Up key for a few seconds.
3. While holding these buttons, push the Power button and hold it for a few seconds.
4. When an Android image pops up, release held keys.
5. Afterwards, press the Volume Down and then choose "wipe data/factory reset". Next, press the Volume Up button.
6. Scroll Volume Down until you can choose "Yes--delete all user data". Confirm your choice with Volume Up key.
7. Restart your phone by selecting "reboot system now".
8. Aaaaaaaand you're done.
Solution #2
1. Go to Settings > Backup & Reset
3. Tap Factory data reset, then choose Reset phone.
4. Select Erase everything.
5. Huzzah, the hard reset is complete.
