How to put Samsung Galaxy Nexus I9250 in Download Mode
1. Switch off the phone and remove the battery.
2. Hold down both Volume Down and Home Power buttons at the same time.
3. Put in the USB cable and the battery.
4. Enter Download mode by pressing Volume Up.
5. You now are in Download Mode.
