How to put your Alcatel OT-978 into Recovery Mode
1. To begin, turn off the cell phone.
2. Next, press and hold Volume Up and Power for a couple seconds.
3. Release all the buttons when the Android Image appears on screen.
4. Hold down the Home key for a short while.
5. You now should be in the Recovery mode.
6. Scroll options by using Volume buttons; confirm by using the Menu key
