How to put your HTC 10 evo into Recovery Mode
1. First, turn off the device.
2. Is it off? Then press both Power + Volume Down buttons for five seconds.
3. Using Volume buttons to navigate and Power button to confirm, select Reboot to Bootloader.
4. Select Boot to Recovery Mode in the same way.
5. Press and hold Power and Volume up until an exclamation mark shows on screen.
7. Excellent! You are right now in the expected mode.
8. When in Recovery mode, navigate using Volume buttons and select options with Power button.
