How to put your Motorola DEFY into Recovery Mode
1. For starters, power down the device.
2. Press and hold the Power & Volume Up buttons for five seconds or so. Let them go when an Android logo pops on-screen.
3. Press Home button to enter Recovery options.
4. Done.
