How to put your ZTE Maven 2 into Recovery Mode
1. Press Power button until the phone turns off.
2. Next, press and hold these buttons simultaneously: Volume Up & Power. Release them after the Boot Mode pops on-screen.
3. Select Recovery using Volume Up and Volume Down buttons.
5. Press-hold Power button when the Android Robot appears. Press and release Volume Up.
6. Yaay, you are in Recovery Mode. Navigate Recovery Mode with Volume & Power buttons.
