How to put your ZTE Star 1 into Recovery Mode
1. Press-hold Power button until the phone is turned off.
2. Next, press-hold Power + Volume Up. Release them when the Boot Mode/Huawei logo/Android logo appear.
3. Select Recovery. To do this, use Volume Up and Down buttons.
4. When in Recovery Mode, navigate it with Volume and Power buttons.
