Hard Reset for Alcatel One Touch Star
In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Alcatel One Touch Star.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Alcatel One Touch Star device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction #1
1. First, press and hold the Power key to turn the device off.
2. Next, press and hold the Volume Up + Power buttons for several seconds.
3. Release all keys when the Android icon/b> appears.
4. A new menu will appear on screen. From it, select the English option by using Volume Up to scroll and Volume Down to confirm.
5. Now use Volume buttons to choose "wipe data/factory reset". Push thePower button to confirm.
6. Please select "Yes". Use Volume buttons to scroll and Power rocker to choose.
7. Restart the device by selecting "reboot system now".
8. Well done! You have just performed the hard reset operation.
Instruction #2
1. For starters, hold the Power button until your device turns on.
2. Now open Menu and choose Settings.
3. Next, select Factory data reset and choose Reset phone.
4. Now choose Reset device and then select Erase everything to begin the hard reset operation.
5. Good shows, you have just perfomed the factory reset operation.
