Hard Reset for Allview Wi8G
In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Allview Wi8G.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Allview Wi8G device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction #1
1. Hey. First of all, hold down the Power key to turn the device back on.
2. Now select Settings. To do that, swipe in from the right edge of the screen.
3. Whenthere, tap Change PC settings and choose Update and recovery.
4. Next, select Recovery.
5. Find and choose the Remove everything and reinstall Windows option.
6. Tap Next when possible.
7. The phone should do its thing now, resetting and reinstalling the OS.
Instruction #2
1. Hold down the Power key and power on the phone.
2. Hold down the Shift key.
3. Keep holding it... also, tap Restart option.
4. Now choose Troubleshoot.
5. Next, tap Reset your PC. Cofirm operation by pressing Next.
6. Select either Fully clean the drive or Just remove my files.
7. To begin the operation, press Reset.
8. Hard reset is complete, glorious.
