How to put your Archos 50 Helium 4G into Recovery Mode

1. First of all, turn the device off by holding down the Power key.

2. Next, press & hold the Volume Up + Home + Power buttons for a while.

3. Wait until the orange screen appears and release held keys.
4. Enter Recovery Mode by pressing the Volume Up + Volume Down button combo.
